Northumberland OPP arrested three more people for impaired driving on the weekend, one of which is facing other serious charges as well.
Officers were called to a cottage on Merrill Road in Alnwick-Haldimand, just after 3:00 p.m. Saturday, where a black pick up truck had smashed into the cottage and the driver had left the scene.
He was found at his home a short time later, where police say they found he had been drinking and became aggressive with officers.
50 year-old Michael Rogers is charged with impaired driving, assaulting and resisting a peace officer and dangerous driving.
Then on Sunday, officers responded to a rollover on Rice Lake Scenic Drive in Hamilton Township, where they found a 28 year-old man who was uninjured, but charged with impaired driving.
Later that day a 61 year-old man from Trent Hills was also charged with impaired driving, following further investigation into a traffic stop and officers noticing the smell of alcohol.
