Police are investigating a theft of guns and fishing gear from a cottage in Roseneath.
Investigators say two Remington 870 Wingmaster shot guns, a Marlin .22 Magnum rifle and the fishing equipment, were taken from the property on 3rd Line, sometime between 8:00 p.m. on July 15 and 10:30 a.m. on July 16.
The initials G-M-R are carved into the grip on all three guns and the fishing rods are described as “spinning rods”.
At this point police don’t have any leads on suspects, so anyone who might have information is being asked to contact them, or Crimestoppers.
