The Belleville Bulldogs U17 girls pulled off a tight 17-15 win against Lindsay last night.
Madi Reid, Anna Suurdt and Brianna Scott had tries, with Jazlyn Geesey kicking a clutch convert to win.
There’s a great chance to see the Bulldogs in action this weekend as the club hosts a trio of games on Saturday at Mary-Ann Sills Park.
The U15 girls play Peterborough at 10:00 a.m., the U17 girls welcome Pembroke-Petawawa at 11:00 a.m. and the women host Oshawa at 11:30 a.m.
That day will feature a BBQ, merchandise sales and 50/50 draw, with all funds raised supporting junior athletes and provincial players locally.
