Three local football players will be in the national spotlight this weekend.
Sr. Quinte Skyhawks Liam Wood, Jacoby Dillon and Josh McBride will represent the region at the ACG All Canada Bowl on Saturday in Chilliwack, BC.
Wood and McBride, who play their high school football at Trenton High, played in last year’s showcase game while Dillon, who pays for Eastside during the school year is making his first appearance.
The game will be broadcast online, with a viewing party being held at Shoeless Joes in Belleville, on Saturday at 5:00 p.m.
The trio is already in BC taking part in a four-day camp with coaching from CFL stars and other high-level trainers.
