An OPP officer charged by the police force’s Professional Standards Bureau will make a plea related to those charges next month.
Constable Allan Detlor is charged by the PSB with two counts of discreditable conduct in connection with an impaired driving charge on April 8.
The PSB charges came after Detlor had pleaded guilty to the criminal charge and was fined $1,500 and given a one-year driving ban.
Quinte News has learned Detlor is set to make his plea in the professional standards case on August 14, with a date and time to be determined.
Detlor is a 13-year veteran of the provincial police force and is currently suspended with pay.
