The Belleville Senators have signed a veteran defenceman to an American Hockey League contract.
The B-Sens inked Victoriaville, Quebec native Hubert Labrie, to a one-year contract on Monday.
Labrie, who turns 28 on Friday, stands close to six feet tall and 190 pounds, has spent eight years in the AHL with seven teams and won a Calder Cup title with the Texas Stars 2013/14.
Over his 411 AHL games played, Labrie has notched 12 goals, 51 assists and 461 penalty minutes.
He had no goals and 10 assists in 69 games with the Syracuse crunch last season.
