The provincial coroner will be conducting an inquest into the death of an inmate at Warkworth Institution in 2017.
Thirty-two-year-old Jeffrey Bruce Woodman died in custody on September 4, 2017 and while no other details about the case were released, the inquest will look into the circumstances surrounding the death and a jury will make any recommendations that could help prevent similar incidents in the future.
The inquest will be led by coroner Dr. Bob Reddoch, with a date and location still to be set.
