A Cobourg man is facing multiple charges after a police investigation on County Road 28 yesterday (July 4).
Officers approached the man as he was getting into a car outside a local business and he was arrested for driving while prohibited.
During that investigation police also found cocaine on him, which led to a search warrant on his vehicle and home, where investigators ended up finding another 28 grams of cocaine.
Police also impounded two vehicles in connection with the case.
Forty-five-year-old Trevor McVety is charged with driving while prohibited, along with possession and trafficking cocaine.
He’ll answer to the charges in Cobourg Court on August 7.
