Another new doctor has signed on to practice in Quinte West.
Dr. Alicia Schraeder has signed a Medical Services Agreement with the city’s Physician Recruitment and Retention Program and plans to set up a new family practice in October of this year at 64 Ontario Street.
Dr. Schraeder is from Pembroke originally and studied at Carleton and McMaster Universities, while also holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in the UK.

Physician Recruitment Coordinator Paula Mason says Dr. Schraeder is not assuming the practice of Dr. Gerrard, who is retiring, but they are looking at options for relocating patients from that practice.
