The offence numbers are in from the Lennox and Addington OPP Canada Day long weekend traffic blitz.
A total of 113 charges were laid including 74 for speeding, six each for stunt driving and seat belt infractions, three for dangerous driving, two each under the liquor licence act, insurance act and marine offences, along with 18 other highway traffic act charges.
There were also 26 crashes in the Lennox and Addington coverage area over the long weekend, four of which resulted in non-life-threatening injuries, with the other 22 resulting in property damage only.
Police conducted 22 RIDE checks and looked over 40 marine vessels as well, with those investigations leading to a handful of charges.
Officers also responded to 350 other calls for service during a busy long weekend.
