Change of Command season is underway at CFB Trenton with various squadrons and units getting new leaders.
Last Friday it was 429 Transport Squadron holding a change of command ceremony to welcome Lieutenant-Colonel Adam Penteny, replacing Lieutenant-Colonel Bryce Graham.
Lieutenant-Colonel Pentney was born in Calgary to a military family and through that, spent time in Germany, Petawawa, Calgary, Toronto and Kingston, before attending the Royal Military College and graduating in 2002.
He got his pilot wings in 2004 and has held domestic positions with two Canadian Forces Flight Training Schools, 435 Transport and Rescue Squadron, one Canadian Air Division Headquarters and the RCAF Aerospace Warfare Centre.
He’s also held international posts related to the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, as well as postings in Kuwait in support of Operation ATTENTION.
