A seven-year veteran of the Prince Edward OPP is facing charges after a rollover last Friday night.
Officers responded to the incident on County Road 2, near Salem Road, around 8:00 p.m. and conducted their investigation.
As a result, 48-year-old Constable Patrick Menard has been charged with having a blood alcohol concentration higher than 80 milligrams per 100 millilitres of blood, within two hours of driving.
Menard, who is currently on leave, was issued a 90 day licence suspension and had his vehicle impounded for a week.
