OPP in Northumberland are looking into a string of thefts from vehicles in the Brighton area.
The incidents happened in the early morning hours of June 12, while the cars were parked in driveways on Butler Street, in Brighton.
Suspects took cash, electronics, sunglasses and various other items.
Police are reminding you to keep valuables out of sight in your car, or take them out of your vehicle altogether, while also making sure that windows are up, doors are locked and you take your keys with you.
Anyone with information on the thefts can contact Northumberland OPP or Crimestoppers.
Meanwhile, a Toronto man was charged after a traffic stop on Highway 401 around 8:00 a.m. on June 13, in Tyendinaga Township.
Twenty-nine-year-old Antoine Chretien was charged with driving while impaired by drug, street racing and driving with cannabis readily available.
He’s scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
