Quinte West OPP have arrested a 21-year-old man following a focus patrol on Stanley Street in Trenton.
Officers were on patrol during the early morning hours on Saturday and noticed a suspicious person who allegedly fled on foot in order to evade officers.
Dorean Geertsma was arrested and charged with trespass at night, failure to comply with probation, possession of break-in instruments, possession of property obtained by crime, two counts of failure to comply with a recognizance and three counts of possession of a prohibited weapon.
He was held for a bail hearing today (Monday) in Belleville.
