A Marmora and Lake man is scheduled to appear in court today in Belleville to face multiple charges for an incident on Moira Lake on Sunday.
Central Hastings OPP say marine patrol officers stopped a pontoon boat around 4:15 in the afternoon.
According to police they attempted to arrest 32-year-old Colby Love for impaired driving. He then resisted and fled by jumping off the police boat and swimming to shore.
He was located on shore and again allegedly resisted arrest, assaulted the officers and fled on foot before turning himself in to police later that evening.
Love is facing impaired operation, two counts of assaulting of a peace officer and escaping lawful custody.
