Staff at Collins Bay Institution in Kingston have made a significant seizure of contraband.
Three package were seized by staff between May 6 and May 14.
The first two packages were found on May 6, around 11:00 a.m. and included about $23,000 worth of marijuana, tobacco, multiple smart phones and accessories.
The third package was seized around 10:00 a.m. on May 14 and contained about $44,000 worth of marijuana.
All of those dollar amounts are the estimated institutional value of items seized.
No arrests or charges have been announced, but the Correctional Service of Canada says it is continuing to investigate, along with provincial police.
