You can add one more accolade to the resume for Bloomfield’s Jett Alexander.
The North York Rangers goaltender has been named Goalie of the Year by the Canadian Junior Hockey League on Tuesday, following votes from each of the CJHL’s 10 member leagues.
Alexander was also named the OJHL’s goaltender of the year with 30 wins, a 1.67 goals against average, a .945 save percentage and 10 shutouts, breaking a league record that dated back to the 1970’s.
The 19 year-old has also represented Team Canada East at the World Junior A Challenge and played in the 2018 CJHL Prospects Game.
