ONLINE REPORTS SAY ERSKINE WAS COMING HOME FROM THE NAPANEE RAIDERS CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

(NAPANEE, ON) – On May 1, 2019 at approximately 12:48 a.m. officers of the Lennox and Addington County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to head on collision on Highway 401 eastbound, east of Palace Road.
Investigation revealed that a pickup truck was travelling west in the eastbound lanes of Hwy 401 when it collided with a Transport truck.
The driver of the pickup truck, a 38-year-old male of Elginburg, Ontario was arrested at the scene, but was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the transport truck was not injured.
The highway was closed for several hours.
Police are continuing to investigate.
