On Tuesday March 19, 2019 at approximately 2 p.m., officers from the Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a theft reported from the family change room at the Quinte West YMCA.
Police were able to gain access to nearby video surveillance that led to the identities of the persons of interest.
Christopher Rose, 26-years-old, of Quinte West was arrested and charged with:
- Theft Under $5000
- Fraud Under $5000
- Possession of Break and Enter Tools
- Breach Probation
Rose is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on April 25, 2019.
The female person of interest has been identified and a warrant has been issued for her arrest in relation to this investigation.
