A man from northwest of Bancroft has been killed in a snowmobile crash in Hastings Highlands.
Bancroft OPP, Hastings Highlands firefighters and Hastings-Quinte Paramedics were called to the E-109 trail, off of Highway 127 around 12:30 Saturday afternoon.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation but OPP say 67 year-old Gordon Schefee, of Dysart Et Al, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The trail was closed for about five hours for the initial investigation and police say a post-mortem is scheduled for early this week.
