The Wellington Dukes have forced a sixth game in the OJHL East Division Final with the Whitby Fury.
The Dukes came back from a 2-0 first period deficit, to beat the Fury 3-2 at Iroquois Park on Saturday night and cut Whitby’s series lead to 3-2 as well.
Whitby jumped out to a 2-0 lead by 10:47 of the first period with Noah Dollo and Shane Bull both beating Logan Bateman, but Dan Panetta, Ben Woodhouse and Elijah Gonsalves would rattled off goals in the first, second and third periods respectively, to push Wellington back in front.
Game six goes Sunday afternoon at the Dukedome with puck drop set for 2:00 p.m.
Game seven, if needed, would be in Whitby on Tuesday night.
