The Ottawa Senators have recalled three Belleville Senators on an emergency basis.
Defenceman Erik Brannstrom has been called up, along with forwards Filip Chlapik and Vitaly Abramov.
Chlapik has played in four games for Ottawa this season registering one goal, while Brannstrom has only dressed in one game for the NHL club and was held pointless.
The NHL call-up is the first of Abramov’s career and the Senators say he’ll wear #89 when he gets in the line-up.
The B-Sens next game is in Providence against the Bruins on Friday night and can be heard on 800 AM CJBQ, while Ottawa’s next game is Thursday night in Calgary.
