Lower Trent Conservation has a new leader.
Rhonda Bateman has been named new Chief Administrative Officer and Secretary-Treasurer, effective May 6.
Bateman will take over from long-time CAO Glenda Rodgers, who recently announced her retirement.
Bateman was selected out of 55 applicants and has most recently worked as the General Manager and Secretary-Treasurer at the Sault Ste. Marie Region Conservation Authority since 2013.
She also worked as the Sault area’s Drinking Water Source Protection Manager and has held other positions with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, Provincial Flood Forecasting and Warning program and the Forest Management Branch.
