A program making it easier for emergency personnel to respond to emergencies on farmland has gotten a boost.
Representatives from FARM 911, also known as The Emily Project, have received a $1,600 donation from Casey Trudeau, of Trudeau Park Lodge.
The staff at Oakley’s Pub at Trudeau Park Lodge ran a food booth at the recent Hastings County Farm Show and Plowing Match, raising the money to honour the legacy of Emily Trudeau, who was killed in a farming accident.
The money will be used to continue to raise awareness about the need for civic addresses at farm field entrances.
