Police in the Bancroft area are looking for more information, or possible victims, connected to sex-related offences that occurred around 1980.
OPP say they made an arrest connected to the historical incidents late last month, charging 56-year-old Ray Sararas of Severn Township with sexual assault, gross indecency and indecent assault on a male.
He was released with a promise to appear in Bancroft Court on April 9.
Investigators say they are still trying to identify any other possible victims of similar crimes and are asking anyone who may have been victimized, or have information, to contact the OPP’s toll free number 1-888-310-1122, or Crimestoppers 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
