Quinte West OPP say there’s been a change to the employment status of an off-duty officer, charged in connection with a crash in Trenton last weekend.
Police were called to a single-vehicle crash on Radeski Street, around 3:30 last Sunday morning, where the car had gone off teh road and into a fence.
Provincial Constable Allan Detlor, a 13-year OPP veteran, serving in Quinte West, had been arrested at the scene and charged with impaired driving and obstructing police.
Originally OPP said he was assigned to administrative duties, but they have clarified he is suspended with pay.
Detlor is scheduled to appear in Belleville Court on October 25.
