Patches are crumbling on the arches of Belleville’s Bridge Street bridge, causing the city to restrict traffic on the bridge.
The situation developed on Wednesday of this week.
Deputy Director of Engineering Ray Ford tells Quinte News the situation is under review by engineers to determine whether or not it’s related to rehabilitation work five years ago.

The traffic restriction is in place while the review is underway.
