Lee Second Charge Foot June.27/18
According to the Associated Press, suspended Belleville Senators GM Randy Lee is facing a second charge of harassment, connected to an incident in Buffalo last month.
Lee, who is also the assistant GM of the NHL club, is accused of making lewd comments and rubbing the shoulders of a 19-year-old shuttle driver, while in Buffalo for the NHL scouting combine.
The new charge defines harassment as “repeated acts which alarm or seriously annoy another person”, while the previous charge defines it as “making physical contact with another person”.
He will be formally presented with the new charge at his next court appearance on July 6.
The AP says his lawyer declined to comment on the second charge, but has been contacted by another lawyer about the possibility of a civil suit being filed.
Lee has been suspended from his duties in Ottawa and Belleville pending the outcome of the legal case.
