Heavy winds overnight Friday left widespread power outages throughout the region Saturday, especially in rural areas.
Hydro One crews returned power to most customers in the Quinte region Saturday but a few scattered outages remained
early Sunday morning.
Most of the people affected will be around Marmora, Centre Hastings, Stirling-Rawdon, and Tweed. Hydro One says electricity might not be returned until late Sunday night for some.
