Two people from Napanee, including one already facing arson charges, have been arrested by OPP in connection to an unrelated fraud investigation.
Investigators say the pair had been defrauding an elderly man of money, over a four-and-a-half year period, by issuing non-sufficient fund cheques and fake invoices for services.
Thirty-nine-year-old Rhonda Pickstock and 40-year-old Joseph Pickstock, who is already facing the unrelated charges, are both charged with one count each of fraud over $5,000, obtaining by false pretense over $5,000, making a forged document and using a forged document.
Rhonda Pickstock was released with a July court date while Joseph Pickstock was held for a bail hearing.
