The Quinte region got a nice soaking yesterday (Tuesday).
According to readings taken at CFB Trenton, 22.4 millimetres of rain fell, or close to one inch.
However, that amount was nowhere near a record for a May 15.
The record for the date was set in 2007 when our area received 48 mm of rain.
