A flood watch will remain in effect from Lower Trent Conservation into next week.
LTC says residents along the Trent River in Trent Hills and Quinte West should expect continued springtime flows and water levels, which could lead to flooding in low-lying areas, access roads, backyards and basements.
Water flows in the watershed are high, but still considered within normal ranges for this time of year and are still much lower than they were at this time last year.
As always, along with the reminder for potential flooding, LTC is urging residents to use caution around river banks, as they can be slippery and water temperatures are still quite cold this time of year.
