There has been a handful more candidates file their municipal election nomination papers across the region.
In Prince Edward County, Stewart Bailey filed for North Marysburgh councillor on Tuesday, as did Janice Maynard for Ameliasburgh councillor.
Steve Ferguson has filed to run for mayor of Prince Edward County.
Also today, Rick Phillips has filed for re-election as Reeve of Tyendinaga Township.
Kelly McCaw has filed to run for Belleville Council in Ward 1, along with Kathryn A. Brown, who filed today in Thurlow Ward 2.
The municipal election is in late October.
