A pair of young people have been charged after police found them rummaging through a car on Loyalist Parkway.
OPP were called about the pair allegedly destroying the inside of a vehicle and responded to find a young man and woman, who had walked away from a group home in Prince Edward County. They had been at a home on Loyalist Parkway before entering the vehicle.
Investigators say the pair had stolen multiple items from the car before damaging the inside.
Both were arrested and charged with theft and mischief, with the young man also being charged with breaching a court order.
The young woman was released on a promise to appear, while the other suspect was held in custody for a May 1 bail hearing.
