A Sergeant serving at CFB Trenton will be demoted and fined after being found guilty of a charge of ill-treating a person of subordinate rank.
At a Standing Court Martial at 8 Wing Trenton Tuesday, Sergeant Raymond Euper had his rank reduced to Corporal and was fined $1,500.
The charge was laid following incidents near Camp Eureka in the Territory of Nunavut in June of 2016.
Personnel were repairing communications systems.
Military Police had originally charged Euper on other counts, including misconduct and sexual assault but they were withdrawn.
