On March 25 2018, at 12:25 p.m., members the Central Hastings OPP detachment and Emergency Services attended a residence on Ray Road in Centre Hastings Ontario for a report of a fatal accident.
A 51 year old man from Centre Hastings was working underneath a tilt-load trailer on his property when he became trapped underneath it.
He was freed with the help of his neighbours but was pronounced deceased at the scene.
An ORNGE air ambulance was in the area but was not needed.
Investigation is still ongoing.
