Some major new development is planned in Wellington.
At tonight’s (Wednesday) planning committee meeting, Prince Edward County council will
see plans for a four-storey hotel, seven cabins and a commercial/restaurant building on land located at 192 Main Street in Wellington.
That is near the beach just outside of the downtown.
The owners are asking for rezoning of the property to allow the development.
County staff is recommending council approve the application.
