Belleville Police nabbed an erratic driver in the city’s west end last night.
Around 9 p.m., an officer observed a vehicle being driven at a high rate of speed and in a reckless manner, almost striking a pedestrian.
The officer was able to catch up to the vehicle and stop it on Bay Bridge Road.
Twenty-four-year-old Jesse Reesor of Trenton was arrested and taken to the police station after failing a roadside breathalyzer.
Reesor was released on a promise to appear in court in March on charges of driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit and dangerous driving.
