The owners of a local dental office are hoping a recent act of charity will help their family smile for years to come.
Reenu and Kuldeep Sandhu, owners of Picton Dental Centre, purchased an auction item at the 2016 Children’s Gala fundraiser. It was to have a street named after them in a west end development in the City of Belleville.
On Tuesday, officials with the municipality, The Children’s Foundation, and the Sandhu’s were on hand to unveil Sandhu Crescent.
Kuldeep Sandhu tells Quinte News it helps his family feel like they belong.
Mayor Taso Christopher says it is great for the city to team up with the developers and The Children’s Foundation.

The couple donated $5,000 for the naming privileges.
