It looks like hundreds of local children will be getting food in their stomachs, thanks to change from local parking meters.
Tuesday morning at Belleville City Hall, dignitaries were on hand to unveil a cheque for $13,000 for Food for Learning’s Feed the Meter campaign.

She says it helps the program get going each school year.

Wednesday, Food for Learning will be in Quinte West to announce how much their feed the meter campaign raised.
The County is running their meter campaign until March.
