Belleville Police had a lot on their plate last night with regards to intoxicated citizens.
First, at 8:45, officers were called to the Yardmen Arena to remove an unruly hockey fan from the Belleville Senators game.
A 50-year-old Vaughan man was arrested for his own protection under the Liquor Licence Act.
Then, close to midnight, officers visited Front Street after getting a report of a fight.
One of the combatants was thrown through the front window of a bar.
A 32-year-old Belleville man was arrested.
The man who went through the window only suffered a minor cut, which didn’t require any medical attention.
The men arrested were both issued provincial offence notices for intoxication in a public place.
