A local automobile dealer has donated generously to the recently completed Belleville Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign.
Dustin Boyer of Belleville Nissan presented a cheque to Salvation Army officials for $3,648.90 today (Wednesday).
Half of that total came from Belleville Nissan, while the other half was donated by customers and staff.
At last report the Belleville campaign totalled over $194,000 but the final total won’t be released until a volunteer appreciation dinner later this month.
This was the first year Belleville Nissan hosted an Army kettle, and owner Dustin Boyer says it won’t be the last.
The business supports various charitable and community organizations throughout the year.
