The Quinte area flu season has been a mild one but cases are showing up in Long Term Care and Retirement homes.
Hastings Prince Edward Health Unit is tracking respiratory diseases in the homes and reports that a few cases are showing up.

He says there is only very general advice for people wishing to avoid the influenza.
And Sherlock says, get the flu shot, available at pharmacies and from doctors.
