UPDATE @ 11:45 a.m.: There have been a few more details released about a crash north east of Tweed yesterday which injured five people.
Napanee OPP say they were called just after 6:00 a.m., to a single vehicle crash on Highway 7, at Beatty’s Curve in Addington Highlands Township.
Investigators say a silver Mercedes was travelling westbound when it hit a guard rail and rolled down a hill.
A 17-year-old girl who was a passenger in the vehicle was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries, while four others in the car were treated at hospital and released.
There’s been no update on the girl’s condition and the Technical Collision Investigation Team was called in, but no details have been released about what caused the crash.

A major crash Monday slowed down traffic northeast of Tweed.
Sometime before 7 a.m., the OPP, EMS and fire crews responded to Highway 7, between the Tweed exit and Kaladar.
Few details are known about the crash, however it closed a major portion of the roadway, between Upper Flinton Road and Highway 41 at Kaladar.
It was re-opened in the late afternoon.
