2017 was a good year for Centre Hastings. New residential construction was strong and more housing is on the books heading into next year.
But, the mayor of Centre Hastings, Tom Deline, says what he noticed most this year was an increased number of volunteers stepping up to make the community stronger.
Mayor Deline says the popularity of Centre Hastings Park, on the south side of Madoc, continues to grow and credits enthusiastic volunteers for keeping it in top shape.
