The Trenton Golden Hawks fell last night in extra time to the Cobourg Cougars.
Steven Elliott and Caleb Boman notched goals for the G-Hawks but it wasn’t enough as they lost by a score of 3-2.
Shots on goal were 32-27 for the Cougars.
Trenton’s next game will be tomorrow in Markham, which will be broadcast on CJBQ at 1:20.
The Wellington Dukes were also in action last night and came away with a 3-1 over Whitby.
Teddy McGeen scored two goals and Daniel Panetta had a marker too in the game that saw the Dukes outshoot Whitby 39 to 32.
The Dukes next play Kingston tomorrow afternoon.
In Jr. C action, the Napanee Raiders had a resounding victory over the Amherstview Jets last night.
The Raiders came away with the two points in an 8-3 game.
