There’s been another much-needed donation to the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation.
Representatives from Farm Credit Canada visited TMH yesterday to tour the Diagnostic Imaging Department and learn more about the hospital’s aging CT machine, which is in need of repair.
The CT is close to 12 years old and some parts for it will no longer be available, so the hospital foundation is trying to buy a new one, which will provide better image quality and expose patients to 30% to 50% less radiation.
The new machine costs more than $1.1 million, so Farm Credit Canada donated $15,000 to the hospital from its AgriSpirit Fund.
