Some federal funding has been announced for several upgrades in northern Hastings County.
M.P Mike Bossio announced funding for the Township of Carlow/Mayo, Bancroft Pentecostal Tabernacle and the Carlow United Church.
The township will receive more than $17, 250 for new heating systems for the Carlow Community Centre and Mayo Community Centre.
Bancroft Pentecostal Tabernacle will receive $19,025 to replace its entrance door and washroom fixtures.
Finally, Carlow United Church will receive $25,000 to pave the parking lot.
The money comes from the New Horizons for Seniors Program.
