Northumberland County’s newly-released annual report shows another year of strong financial performance.
The report was recently presented to county council by Director of Finance Glen Dees and Auditor Joanna Park and shows that efforts by council and staff are delivering good value to the community through the programs and services it offers.
Director of Communications Kate Campbell tells Quinte News, big strides were made with a number of those programs, services and projects.
Campbell adds, the report also shows that the county is on the right track financially moving through this year as well.
The report shows Northumberland County is holding net financial assets worth $8.3 million dollars and that its debt has gone down by about $1.3 million.
