Northumberland OPP have provided more information on a fatal incident yesterday, where a camper trailer fell on a man, near Campbellford.
Investigators say the man was working underneath the 23-foot camper trailer, on his 11th Line West property yesterday afternoon, when the camper’s supports became unstable and it came down on top of him.
Family members were able to lift the trailer before Trent Hills Firefighters and emergency medical services arrived and the man was taken to hospital, where he died of his injuries.
The 53 year-old’s name hasn’t been released and police say no foul play, or suspicious activity is suspected.
